Three Monday May 30 - Back in Manila. Went to see the Doctor and he said that I had 3 things that were toally unrelated to each other and coincidentally happened around the same time. 1. Muscle pull 2. Swolleness 3. Right side chest pain. Took x-rays and said coast clear for anything serious. Gave me stretching exersises for muscle pull. Ibruprofen for swolleness and body aches as well as for right side chest pain. He suggested these were brought on by my climate and food changes. Tuesday May 31 - Finally I feel like my old self. Muscle pull is almost healed and I have taken some of my gout pills which has successfully stopped my body swelling and pains. Seems my acidity went a little high from the foods I am eating. Thankfully I can resume a normal life again.Tonight I went to Greenbelt. GB is a very high end shopping and movie mall in Makati where everyone hangs out at night especially foreigners. It is really a scene. I decided to see what everyone was talking about it as a pick-up place. Went to Starbucks and sat down outside. Within 5 minutes I had 3 girls sitting next to me talking and then suggesting a move to different spaces for a one-on-one up to three-on-one. One of these girls was soooo hot. She was about 5 feet with the tinest body you ever saw and a gorgeous face with bright smiling teeth and dimples. Unreal. Probably would have given me a heart attack but would have had fun trying. Will try and track her down for a photo. Sad thing is most of these girls have menial paying day jobs and do this fun good paying stuff at night to support their familesas. Most also have kids. Interesting to see all the white guys with these young girls in the same environment as regular Filipinos with their girlfriends and wifes and it all works with no condescension or judgments. It is what it is. Had fun chatting and then headed home. As I got into my cab I saw Ms. cute dimples already hooked up with a white guy. Wednesday June 1 - Today I decided to give it one more go in search of a base camp. Visited one building called Citiland located in Makati. It was definetely better than all the others but still the apartments are so small. Like big walk-in closets. What should you expect for $200. Anyway tried and visualize and still thinking it is possible. I will however wait until after my first adventure into the province area. Other than this I decided to get a pedicure. Lasted 45 minutes and included a foot massage all for $8.00. Manila is certainly more expensive than I remember it but still a bargain. I hear the provinces are about 1/2 the price of Manila. Can't wait to see for myself. Anyway went back to Greenbelt to see if I could find that hot little pro. Found her. These pictutes don't do her justice and she definetely looks better in person and what a little firecracker she is ony 20 years old. Doug, sorry you missed her.

new to report Friday June 3 - Nothing new to report Saturday June 4- Got word this morning that my crates have arrived and will be able to get them by Wednesday. Now all that is left is what the clearing and customs charges will be. Sunday
