FORTY THREE

August 25 - 28 - During the time I spent in Cebu waiting for the Starex to be prepped and Lynn to return I pursued my normal routines of Starbucks and the malls.

One such thing I found amusing is the love of corned beef most Filipinos have. The following photo shows endless shelves of corned beef in the Metro supermarket. I kid you not, this is all canned corned beef. Can anyone say SPAM.

Finally a shot of two starbucks employess who always remember me when I come to town, They are always smiling and we have fun sharing stories.

Tins and Chanti

I picked up the Starex on Saturday and Lynn and her sister Bing-Bing arrived on Sunday. There were some things that needed addressing with the van so we stayed until Tuesday to have those things taken care of and then headed back to Dumaguete mid-day Tuesday. We arrived back home around 4:30 pm and the ride was great. Joe was of course happy to see us.
