SIXTY FOUR February 19 - I am in Cebu taking care of those errands I previously mentioned. The truth is I can't wait to get home. I really miss Lynn and Alex. Today I was in the SM Mall and there is a large toy store like a Toys-r-Us and I found myself looking at all the toys and educational products geared babies under one year. It is really incredible. You'd think every baby born today would become mini-Einsteins with all the stuff on the market to aid a babies mental and physical growth. I find it quite intimidating. Tomorrow I head back to Dumaguete. Heard from Lynn that Mom's clothing package arrived from Italy. I can only imagine how fashionable our little girl will be looking. February 20 - Couldn't wait to get out of Cebu and back to my family. Here are some photos Lynn had for me of Alex. Thanks Mom for the very colorful and fashionable outfits.
It appears that everyone who has seen Alex thinks she looks exactly like me. I found some old photos of me as a baby so you can be a better judge. I actually see more similarities with Alex to me as an adult.
February 27 - not much has happened since Baby Alex was born 15 days ago. She continues to give us more and more pleasure everyday and I am warming up very quickly to the little munchkin. I forgot to mention about something of interest here and that would be the cost of having Alex. It is ridiculously cheap and this is actually considered expensive as most local Filipinos go to the provincial hospital for this where the total cost is about $730 for the absolute identical treatment. We decided to go to the best hospital so as not to take any chances.
Total = $1,448.00 Not
to bad at all. 2005
