SEVENTY SIX May 9 - It was Lynn's turn to go to the Dentist today and she is having two caps redone and a general renovation. She also has a great smile but it is impaired by some previously shitty dental work. I am now excited to present the first video of our beautiful baby ALEX. She was two months and 21 days young. Please give the video some time to load. (depends on connection speed)
May 11 - Today my Grandma (Edith Leibowitz) died. She was 96 years old. I have to say she was a wonderful, positive and important part of my life while I lived in Florida for most of the 1990's up to 2005. We tried to have a regular lunch every week where we would just shoot the shit and talk about different things including family, politics, religion, her social life, my well being...almost anything. She loved to have a hot cup of water with whatever she was eating.
I can't tell you how nice it was to do this with her. Most grandchildren even as adults probably don't have this opportunity or want it even if they could. For me, I looked forward to it and never saw it as an obligation to an old woman. You see she was already 80 years when this all started for us. Too me she was like a woman in her 50's physically and mentally. She had plenty of energy, extremely vibrant, opinionated (which drove my Mom crazy ha, ha, ha), whining and complaining at times, and what I particulary liked ......she was always in a positive mood when we would meet. Up until 1998 I think she actually drived and by then she was already 86. Amazing huh!!! I really had a chance to get to know my Grandmothe and very thankful for it. . She is survived by Sons Yale and Omar, Daughter Vicki and 4 grandchildren and one great grand child (Alex) Anyway Grandma. I will miss you. Love Corey BACK<<<<<<<< >>>>>SEVENTYSEVEN 2005
