EIGHTY TWO May 22 - Today is Joes birthday. He is 15. When I see him at 15 versus where I was at 15 it is like night and day. Growing up in the Philippines many if not most kids to be much younger for their age than their counterparts in the west. Joe is no different but at the same time it is refreshing. He also inherited his mothers good and happy personality so he has the best of all worlds. He always has a smile on his face and has a very upbeat personality and he will grow up pretty quickly when he moves to Canada in August. He will be moving to Canada primarily for schooling but also to have some quality time with his Dad. Happy Birthday Joe!!! from your other dad. May 23 - Today was a busy day. I started the day with 9 holes of golf. Then me, Lynn, Joe, the YaYa, Alex and Joes Cousin Bambi went to town to do some shopping. By the end of the day we ended up with a 40" Flat Screen TV and a surround sound stereo which we have wanted for two years now. Alex is the main reason we decided to get it so she can concentrate on Barney and other educational vehicles on DVD and Lynn can finally get down to singing Karaoke. We got a baby carrier for Alex. This is one of those things the baby fits into and you carry her around with you. We also bought Alex her first crib. It is really cute with a teddy bear theme and finally we tried some baby hats on Alex and here are the results while in her new baby carrier. It was lots of fun.
We also had a nice lunch in out favorite seafood restauran behind Victoria Plaza Mall.. While we were eating I noticed a man sitting across from us that was a close double for Marcello so I took a photo.
May 24 - Today we had a belated birthday party for Joe.We had about 30 people over including a guy named Derek and his wife and two children. They also live in the Solareiga. It was a lot of fun.
